Financial Controller

Microsoft – the leading software development company – is looking for Financial Controller.

Functions:

• reporting and analyzing the business performance (understanding key business and financial drivers);
• controlling the operating expenses and investments efficiency;
• coordinating the efforts of Finance and other departments, following up on the action items and deadlines, communicating various topics to local and headquarter teams;
• monitoring month closure process, accounting day to day activities;
• providing monthly PL report with explanation of main differences;
• revision and improvement of the local financial policies, procedures and processes;
• managing and completing forecasting/budgeting/etc. preparation processes.

Major requirements:

• higher education (Finance/Accounting);
• 5+ years of relevant experience (accounting/audit/financial analysis&planning/control&compliance);
• completed ACCA, CPA, CFA certifications are preferred;
• excellent analytical and presentation skills;
• experience in project managing or coordination of people’s activities;
• deep understanding of GAAP (experience in big multinational companies), running SAP platform is an advantage;
• excellent knowledge of MS Windows and MS Office products (running pivot table queries, working with database tools, etc.);
• fluent English, Russian, Ukrainian;
• advanced PC user.
