IRM Assistant
Main role:
- Act as a member of financial audit team performing auditing in
Computer Information Systems Environment (CIS). (CIS environment
exists when a computer of any type or size is involved in the
processing by an entity of financial information of significance to
the audit, whether that computer is operated by the entity or by a
third party.)
Support audit team in
following:
- understanding of the accounting and internal control
systems affected by the CIS environment;
- determining the effect of the CIS environment on the
assessment of overall risk and of risk at the account balance and
class of transactions level;
- designing and performing appropriate tests of
control;
- identifying performance improvements opportunities that
could improve general IT controls over client’s information
systems.
Successful candidate’s
profile:
- degree in information technology or experience in
IT;
- fluent English skills; Good technical understanding of
computer technologies, including, but not limited to: - operating
systems;
- database management systems;
- network technologies: network equipment, TCP/IP protocol
suit, Internet.
Desirable:
- previous Information Security/IT audit experience; -
knowledge of financial audit/accounting;
- certifications on IS security and audit (CISA, CISPP
etc.) or IT certifications (by Microsoft, CISCO
etc.)
